No International Experience

Sumeet wanted to attend a top U.S. MBA for entrepreneurship, but was worried that his lack of international experience would hold him back.

Since he had spent thousands of dollars the previous year on a more famous consulting firm, with zero acceptances, he was extra cautious about signing up for ApplicantLab. Finally though, he decided to put the work in and trust the process.
  • Our solution: The strengths & weaknesses module helped him understand different strategies he could pursue to mitigate his India-only experience (since there are a few ways to address this “red flag”). He also realized that he should emphasize certain brand traits in his application, and should be sure to allocate at least one story demonstrating that trait across his essay maps and recommendations.

The step-by-step essay guidance helped him craft his story with a unique spin, ensuring that he fully answered the essay questions, and also avoided unimportant details.
  • Result: Sumeet is studying entrepreneurship at Babson, the #1 ranked MBA for entrepreneurship according to US News & World Report.
